680 Graphic Design Two
Working from the foundation created in Graphic Design One, students will further explore the Elements and Principles of Design, pushing the boundaries of visual communication using digital and traditional artistic techniques. Students will begin to investigate in depth the career of a freelance graphic designer, and the means of becoming a professional commercial artist.
By examining magazines, billboards, TV and the Internet, students will learn the critical thinking skills necessary to understand the truth and techniques behind many messages in our world today. We live in the most visual culture in the history of humanity, learn to think for yourself among all the visual chatter.
