With close attention to typography, design and spelling, I write this quote from W.B. Yeats on my white board for discussion at the beginning of every school year.
This is my modus operandi,
my over-arching goal as a teacher.
I am not here to just fill the students heads with information, but to ignite within each of them a passion for learning. Through these creative explorations the students will discover an artistic career path, explore critical thinking skills and discover industry standard computer software. More importantly, they will examine their great potential and a deeper sense of who they are as individuals.
I am quite proud of the Commercial Art programs here at the Waltham High School, and look forward to being an integral part of their future.
