633 Introduction to
Graphic Communications
This course will immerse students in the exciting professional world of Graphic Design and careers within the Printing Industry. The Graphic Designer works closely with clients to communicate ideas and attitudes visually to the modern world.
Many techniques, skills and careers are involved in this enormous industry and they will continue to grow. This class will give students an insight into this multifaceted, creative environment, including an introduction to the WHS Print Shop. Students will be exposed to both PC and Mac platforms to create layouts and artwork for print. Creation of business cards, note pads, and stationery will be covered with an eye towards further exploration of careers and classes available in Graphics Design, Illustration and printing.
